This is a great step stool for little ones. Currently ours is learning to walk so it’s made its way into her play area where she uses it to stand and shuffle. The directions were easy to follow and took me about 20 minutes to put together. I do recommend having a power drill for installing the wood dowel.
Some of the pieces were cut at poor angles (pictured) that made assembly a little difficult, but it was overall ok. The instructions were clear and it was quick to put together. It feels pretty sturdy and my toddler is able to use it at the counter.

I love that this was easy to assembly. It’s very strong. Overall, it is very bulky. The base is wide, but that is needed for stability. As long as you have somewhere to put this, it’s great to have for kids to help out in the kitchen. It slides nicely under our countertop near the stools, but the bottom step sticks out.
Best to have 2 people for assembly.
I might end up removing the back support pole as it makes getting in and out tricky for my 2.5 year old granddaughter.
